Punjab Kings once again missed out on winning their first IPL title, but star pacer Arshdeep Singh is making headlines for his recent social media activity. Arshdeep, who is very active online, especially on Snapchat, caught fans’ attention after he cleaned up his Instagram profile following constant media buzz. Although this time his performance with the ball wasn’t in news, it was his social media activities which sparked controversies, especially the one involving a remark on Tilak Varma.

While the Indian pacer received massive flake from fans, he has now appeared to either archived or delete majority of his posts on Instagram. What was shocking was Arshdeep Singh also removing the viral reel with Virat Kohli from Champions Trophy 2025.  It is being learned that the cricketer has removed over 200 posts from his Instagram profile and now has only 44 of them visible, majority of them catering to brand endorsements and promotional collaborations. Moreover, there remains no statement from the 27-year-old, even his IPL franchise has remained tight-lipped on all this all throughout.

Arshdeep Singh, who hails from Madhya Pradesh, endured a disappointing IPL 2026 season with the ball, managing just 14 wickets in 14 matches at an economy rate of 10.20. However, more than his performances, it was the controversies around him that grabbed attention.

One of the biggest incidents involved Tilak Varma, where Arshdeep allegedly made racial remarks towards the Indian batter. Another video of his which grabbed limelight was one where he showed his PBKS teammate Yuzvendra Chahal smoking an e-cigarette. The cricketer’s last post on Insta is around PBKS’s end of IPL 2026 which he captioned, “Sabar. Shukar. Punjab”.
