Managing the project

IPL uses defined processes and procedures for the management of all software projects. The project manager uses or adapts the appropriate processes and procedures to undertake all key activities including:

  • Defining team members' roles and responsibilities.
  • Planning, allocation and tracking of work packages for team members.
  • Recording and reporting of project status, both internally and externally.
  • Defining and controlling the appropriate software configuration management methods and tools.
