IPL today celebrates its 30th birthday, an event that continues an exceptionally bright phase in the firm's history. As Bath's largest high-technology employer, IPL's staff are finding much to celebrate.
The last 18 months have seen IPL complete a successful management buy-out, become the main sponsor of Bath Rugby, and remain highly profitable despite the recessionary business climate.
Shaun Davey, IPL's CEO, commented: “IPL is a remarkable phenomenon. 30 years is a long time in the technology sector but we have evolved to meet the needs of a very dynamic marketplace while remaining successful and stable throughout. Today the company is set on a new growth trajectory, full of fresh ideas, crackling with energy and a huge sense of optimism for the future.”
IPL works with a wide range of clients both in the South West and nationally, including: the Audit Commission, EADS, the Highways Agency, MOD, the National Policing Improvement Agency, Nationwide, Nokia, Orange, and Thales. IPL's consultancy and software solutions play a key role in enabling businesses and government agencies to function efficiently.
The company is marking the occasion with evening events on consecutive weekends for both staff and clients.
