IPL is delighted to have been awarded a key 3-year consultancy contract by the Highways Agency (HA) thereby further consolidating its status as a valued supplier to the HA.
IPL's role will be to provide Technology Design and Governance services in support of the HA's Traffic Operations and Management Systems (HATOMS) technical convergence programme. The programme will bring together the existing Regional Control Centre systems with the Active Traffic Management developments for the M42, in a single system which builds on the best features of the existing systems to deliver a much improved user interface.
The new contract will run for three years from April 2007 and will involve the provision of a sizeable IPL team composed of some of its most talented and experienced consultants.
