The job

IPL projects vary from single person, short-term assignments to multi-million pound projects spanning several years with a project peak size in excess of 50 staff. Projects may be carried out at IPL's offices or on the customer's site as part of a customer team.

The person
You will be intelligent, self-motivated, adaptable software engineers, who will be graduates (first degree) in a numerate discipline (backed with a strong showing in A-level Mathematics to grade A/B, or equivalent). Good communications skills are essential as is the ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with customers and colleagues.
At the present time IPL is seeking software engineers to undertake design and development roles up to and including lead developer, technical architect and team leader. IPL is particularly interested in applicants with .NET experience (C# and/or ASP.NET), but we also have opportunities for engineers with Java (J2EE in particular), C++ and Web technologies.
